iGaging Digital Dial Indicator
There's no shortage of reasons to add a dial indicator to a
woodworking shop - accurately setting the heights of router bits and dado
heads, aligning your table saw and rip fence, or checking the depth of cut on
your jointer, to name a few applications.
This new iGaging unit is a perfect solution for modern wood
shops, providing plenty of accuracy for setting up woodworking equipment at a
price that's easier to justify than spending $150+ for an indicator that's
geared toward full-time production use or inspection work.
It reads decimal inch to 0.0005" resolution, fractional
inches, and millimeters at the touch of a button.
There's even an "Absolute/Relative" button
that shows the measurement between two points without re-zeroing the original
setup - perfect for raising a router bit a certain distance without losing
track of its overall height.
The standard rear mounting lug makes it compatible with most indicator cases, so it's the perfect upgrade for existing table saw alignment tools or magnetic bases originally equipped with analog dials. The plunger action is quite smooth through its 1" stroke and has a nice. play-free fit in the housing's lower stem. The plunger accepts commonly available threaded tips... check out our 22pc Indicator Tip Set to get the most versatility.
