The MATCHFIT Dovetail Router Bit is designed specifically for routing grooves for the Micro Jig MATCHFIT Dovetail Clamps and saves cleanup time compared to conventional dovetail bits.

Although it mills the same 1/2”, 14° dovetail groove as a standard bit, its unique profile rounds over the sharp edges at the board’s surface, producing super clean dovetail grooves that often need no sanding. The wider opening it leaves at the surface as it cuts also helps clear chips and sawdust for reduced friction & heat.

Note: This router bit won’t work for dovetail joinery with INCRA fence systems or dovetail jigs.

Carbide tipped, 1/2” shank. There’s also an engraved safety line showing the shank’s maximum height in the router’s collet .
