Cutting dados to perfectly match another board’s
thickness should be one of the simplest woodworking joints, right?
Nope...at least not until now. Micro Jig’s new stop will finally eliminate endless fine
tuning when setting up for dados, half-lap joints, and inlay work.
The new Dado Stop attaches to your rip fence using a MatchFit Dovetail Clamp, then it uses the physical thickness of the
mating board to automatically set the dado’s width - no tricky measurements
involved.
Cut perfect dados in two passes without tweaking your stack
dado’s width - just set the stack undersize and the Dado Stop does the rest.
Or, save blade changing time by making
multiple passes with your standard crosscutting blade.
The exact kerf width and board thickness don’t matter –
the Dado Stop automatically compensates for both. The max cutter width 13/16”, the
max groove width ranges from 13/16” up to 1-5/8” depending on cutter width.
