Forrest 8" Dado King Stacking Dad Set w/Case
The American-made Forrest Dado King is consistently rated as the best stacking dado set sold today because of its incredible sharpness, long life, and outstanding performance in challenging materials like veneered plywood and melamine.
This is an exceptionally versatile cutting tool for making box joints with the INCRA I-Box because the variable cutting width allows a lot of flexibility for board widths in your project.
Box joints aside, every shop should have a good quality stacking dado, and you'll understand why as soon as you start a project that requires a lot of grooving or rabbeting: A dado set in a table saw will feed much faster and with far less noise than a similarly-sized router bit, plus the fine adjustment available with the included shims provides greater control. A saw's arbor can also be tilted, allowing angled joints not possible with other methods.
1/4" to 29/32" width range, includes fine adjustment shims Cuts great either across or with the grain, negative hook on all of the cutters produces incredibly clean cuts in difficult materials Hi-accuracy construction produces exceptionally flat-bottomed grooves 24T outer blades with 4-wing chippers, including a 3/32" chipper for working with undersize plywood Double-hard, 40% stronger C-4 carbide will give up to 300% longer life between sharpenings 5/8" bore fits most 10" table saws Includes a Blade Runner carrying case to protect your investment Compatibility: Please note that the saw's arbor must be long enough to accommodate the desired stack of cutters (the arbor on some portable saws can be too short), and the saw will require a throat plate with an opening appropriate for a wide cutter.
